Now here’s some good news! The Admiral Twin Drive-In (Tulsa OK) reopened this June after a fire destroyed its wooden screen in September 2010. (I love its motto: This time we’re going to build it out of steel, cause we ain’t gonna do this fire crap again!)

According to the Tulsa World, business has been solid since it reopened, and the Admiral Twin is extending its season this year until Halloween “if people keep coming out and the weather’s not bad.” Be sure to click through even if it’s just to see Michael Wyke’s great photo of the drive-in at twilight.
